Description
8" (20 cm.) w. of frame. The padded-silk brocade purse with woven designs has a three-arched silver clasp that is decorated with relief designs of garlands and a basket of flowers; tiny baskets of flowers form the attachment to the silver silk straps and there is a silver loop in the design of a lyre. The clasp has hallmarks. Excellent condition. Early/mid-1800s.
