German All-Bisque Googly, Model 111, with Rare Jointing of Elbows and Knees

8" (20 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso with chubby shape, blue glass side-glancing sleep googly eyes, painted dark curly lashes, single-stroke brows, little button-shaped nose, closed mouth in tiny line smile, blonde mohair wig, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted socks and shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 111 6 (head and limbs). Comments: Germany, circa 1915, mystery maker, the facial model was inspired by the designs of Grace Drayton. Value Points: very rare eight-point jointing of the most endearing googly.
