10" (25 cm.) Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shouder plate, pale blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker blue iris rims, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid bebe body with scalloped upper rim, gusset jointing at hips and knees, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excelllent, cheek rub, left hand restored, body original albeit a bit dusty. Marks: 6/0 (head and shoulder). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1877, his first period bebe. Value Points: very rare size of the early bebe, possibly the tiniest size made, with matched head and shoulder plate, original body, pretty antique dress and bonnet, Bru style antique shoes.
