Description
9" (23 cm.) The heavy cast iron bank depicts a grey circus elephant with well-defined cast wrinkles and muscles, and with cast blue fringed jhul and red howdah posed upon its back. When coin is placed in the slot at the tip of his trunk, and his tail uplifted, he flips his trunk to deposit the coin through a slit in the howdah. Excellent condition, mechanism functions, well, original finish. Hubley, circa 1920s.
