Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, shaded and outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears. Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 11 H 1009 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: very fine modeling includes dimpled chin and lip corners, original body and body finish.
