Description

8 1/2" (22 cm.) x 6". The beautifully-bound set in maroon Moroccan leather with marbled panels and gold tooled lettering, discusses the fashion and culture of the 19th century "as represented in the pictures and engravings of the time", according to the subtitle. Translated into English from the German original manuscript by Dr. Oskar Fischel and Max von Boehn, published by J.M. Dent and E.P. Dutton, 1927. Excellent condition.
