14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head with cut pate to accommodate the shape of the bisque baby bonnet (which is detachable), brown glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7975 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany 4. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, the model known as "Baby Stuart", circa 1912. Value Points: rare detachable bonnet variation with beautiful roses and trailing vines decoration, and rare glass eyes.
