Description
19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted facial features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, plaster pate, composition ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany d 1/2 168 8 1/2 (head, body also signed Germany). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910, the doll has beautiful antique wig with original label "Getefrisur...Germany", and wears beautiful antique costume comprising fine lawn dress with Bertha collar, fancy hat, undergarments, leather shoes and sateen wooden-handled umbrella.
