Description
15" (38 cm.) Hollow press-modeled socket head with sculpted short tan baby hair, painted large brown eyes, dark upper eyeliner, rounded nose with accented nostrils, tiny closed mouth, cloth torso and jointed composition limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci, circa 1930, the model was introduced as "Prosperity Baby". Value Points: rare little wide-eyed doll is wearing original costume comprising knit romper suit with pink applique felt rose buds and aqua felt slippers, and has beautifully-preserved original artistic painting of face.
