Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso with highly-defined modeling, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, rose-blushed eyeshadow, slightly-parted outlined lips, two square cut upper teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white stockings and yellow ankle boots with spats and lacing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 102. Comments: Germany, circa 1885, the model is known as "French Wrestler" in reference to the highly-muscular body details. Value Points: very beautiful doll has lovely bisque, original wig with silk interwoven ribbons.
