The mahogany-framed folding chair, known as "campaign" style, with carved detail of arms and brass stud accents folds flat, allowing for portability; the purpose-driven centuries-old style was particularly prevalent in 19th Century France for its use at summer festivals and such. Perfectly scaled for display with dolls 18"-22". Excellent condition. Circa 1880.
