Description
20" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, pale blue painted eyes in rarer side-glancing expression, thick black eyeliner, one stroke brows, rounded nose tip with accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig with side-coiled braids, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, their art reform character marketed as "Marie". Value Points: especially fine quality of sculpting and bisque, original body and body finish.
