Description
22" (56 cm.) overall. 7" Heads. Each has hand-carved wooden block head with caricature detail of carving and painting of hair and facial features to depict the early silent film stars of Laurel and Hardy, each with attached hollow cloth body with attached hollow arms with wooden hands. Each has original plaid coat or suit. The maker is unknown, but the presentation is remarkable in its caricature mimicry. Excellent condition. American, circa 1925.
