Description
15" (38 cm.) x 10" x 10". Fitted within a wooden frame is a five-wall folding room with lithographed paper walls outlined with embossed gilt paper bands, printed paper floor, two windows fitted with original canopies and silk draperies with lace inserts. The room is fitted with original light wood furnishings comprising fireplace, piano, settee, two arm chairs, two side chairs and a fernery, with original rose silk upholstery and trim, and accented with a gilt ormolu mirror, mantel clock, and glass dome. Two small bisque dolls inhabit the room. Excellent condition. French, attributed to Badeuille, circa 1885.
