Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with plump face, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, dark eyeliner, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, unpierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body with stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, body is patched and a bit weak. Marks: E 4 5. Comments: Blampoix, circa 1865. Value Points: the doll is presented with antique trunk along with four Guido Odin-made silk costumes of the 1870 era, and with an antique Psyche mirror, and various accessories including two antique bonnets.
