Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, modeled bosom and shoulder blades, blue glass paperweight inset eyes of very great depth, thick dark eyeliner, painted dark curly lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked brows with feathered details, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils of upturned nose, closed mouth with pronounced tongue tip between the outlined shaded lips, dimpled philtrum and chin, pierced ears, extended-length brunette mohair wig over cork pate, slender kid bebe body with scalloped-edge collarette, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque lower arms with sculpted fingers, jointing at hips and knees. Condition: very faint old hairline on forehead. Marks: Bru Jne 12 (head and shoulders), original Bru paper label on forehead. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1885. Value Points: an exceptionally beautiful Bebe Bru with very deeply sculpted features, very fine bisque, complexion and painting, splendid eyes, original sturdy body, perfect bisque hands, fine early silk costume may be original, lace bonnet, undergarments, stockings, leather shoes signed "Bru Jne Paris".
