20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with brown short sculpted boyish-fashion hair, combmarked detailed with curls around the face, painted facial features, blue eyes, closed mouth, old muslin body, bisque lower limbs, painted shoes, wearing antique night shift. Condition: hairline on back shoulder plate and on legs, right thumb broken. Marks: S 9 H. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1880, a rare early model with superb quality of painting.
