15" (38 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, tinted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde mohair tendrils delicately inserted in scalp, muslin stitch-jointed body, poured wax arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, circa 1880, in the Montanari manner. Value Points: dainty little doll with beautiful eyes, original body, in (very worn) early box.
