Of hardwood,with faux marble tops and with original aqua-green painted finish,decorated with cherubic and courtly scenes in the Romantic theme,and with additional painted flowers,butterflies and garlands,with ormolu trim,and with working keys on cupboard piece,the seven-piece set comprises dining and bedroom furnishings: buffet with paneled doors on upper and lower cupboard sections,armoire with tall paneled doors,cabinet with tall-attached mirror,wash stand with attached mirror,shelf and ormolu candle holders,table and two chairs with burgundy velvet upholstery. French,circa 1880,outstanding quality and state of preservation of the extensive and rare luxury set.
