Description
8" (20 cm.) and 5". The larger is all bisque with swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, tiny blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, very plump cheeks, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white socks and lavender ankle boots with black tassels, lovely lavender silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: highly characterized face, rare lavender boots, included is an all-bisque tinier doll with blue glass eyes, black painted ankle boots.
