Description
17" (43 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulder head with black painted pate, painted facial features, blonde mohair wig in original braid, crude hand-made muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 389 1/2 N 7 (ink script inside shoulder plate). Comments: Germany, circa 1880, the doll wears her original lavishly lace-trimmed gown (frail), bonnet, undergarments, and shoes.
