Description
13" (10 cm.) Each of three bisque socket heads has solid dome with sculpted hair, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, and accented nostrils. One is presented as complete doll with composition baby body in nice antique costume, and the two others have wooden dowels at neck socket for easy interchangeable placement. Marks: SFBJ 233 Paris 4 (also 234 and 237). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: highly-characterized features are well achieved depicting crying, laughing and solemn, one head with fine original flocked finish.
