Description
11" (28 cm.) and 14". Each is all wooden with carved wooden hair in coiled chignon at the back of head which is enhanced by well-defined comb marks, painted light blue eyes, closed mouth, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Huggler of Brienz, Switzerland, early 20th century. Value Points: endearing pair of sister dolls have excellent detail of carving, and wear well-detailed original traditional costumes.
