Description
3" (8 cm.) x 2". The tiny box with early engraving depicting a wedding veil is labeled "La Corbeille de la Mariee", and has a flip-top which, when hinged open, reveals a full-length Psyche mirror. Inside is a 2 1/2" Psyche paper doll, and seven double-sided costumes including wedding gown and veil, and other trousseau gowns and coats. Excellent condition except feet missing on doll. French, circa 1850, very rare tiny paper doll with original box.
