Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, neat re-glue at the knees. Marks: 2 1/2. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: wonderful detail of sweet doll with well-defined musculature of legs, shapely bent elbows, cupped hands, rare bare feet, antique cutwork dress.
