17 1/2" (44 cm.) All-latex-composition with slender face and elongated throat, socket head, bright blue painted eyes, lashes, delicately painted lashes and brows, arched brows, closed mouth with wide center line, brunette human hair, slender elongated lady-shaped torso and limb, jointing at shoulders and hips, wearing original artist-made costume of striped cotton sun suit with matching skirt, sandals. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D.C. S5-58. Comments: Dewees Cochran, circa 1958, the doll depicts the grown-up model of her Susan Stormalong series. Value Points: very rare Cochran model in wonderfully-preserved condition.
