Description
6" (15 cm.) largest doll. Two all-bisque dolls, each with swivel head, glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, tiny teeth, mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted black above-the-knee ribbed stockings and brown shoes, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, the smaller doll has tiny hairline at upper back torso, few tiny repairs to furnishings. Marks: S&H 887 1 (larger doll). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: included is a set of wooden miniature furnishings having original patterned upholstery.
