Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Few A 7 (head) (Steiner paper label with doll holding flag, on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1889. Value Points: appealing petite size with lovely dewy patina of bisque, original signed body with original finish, antique cotton dress, undergarments, straw hat, knit stockings, leather shoes.
