Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel eyes with spiral threading and darker blue outer rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes and very delicate brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with pale accented lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing,wearing pretty antique costume,undergarments,leather ankle boots,purse,bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: E (head). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,the early version of the smiling poupee with tentative smile,letter marking,circa 1867. Value Points: rare doll with maker's markings,gentle expression with beautiful painting.
