Bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over Steiner pate,original composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips. nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Steiner Paris Fre A 2 (head) Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner (body). Comments: Jules Steiner,circa 1890. Value Points: sweet child,with original body and body finish,owns mechanical toy poodle with lavish curly fur mane,amber eyes,shaved muzzle and body; when wound he leaps up and down as though in greeting to his little owner,attributed to Elie Martin and in well-functioning original condition.
