21" (53 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair arranged in formal rolled curls above the forehead, surmounted by a wide blue hair band with gilt edging that frames the crest roll and eight graduated rolls of curls down the back of the head, pierced ears, painted facial features, blue eyes, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870.
