Description
20" (50 cm.) Light brown-complexioned bisque socket head, large brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick brown brushstroked brows, painted curly lashes, coral shaded nostrils, closed mouth with coral lips, pierced ears, dark brown hand-tied human hair wig over cork pate, brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: bisque excellent, body has original matching painted finish and is appropriately-sized albeit not original to this head. Marks: M 7 (head) F.S.& C. (body stamp). Comments: French, mystery maker, circa 1888. Value Points: very beautiful bebe with flawless luminous "cafe-au-lait" complexion, with wonderful antique costume.
