Description
2" (5 cm.) Including 2" mother-of-pearl egg-shaped case with red velvet lining containing tiny sewing tools including thimble, scissors, spool and awl. Along with a Moroccean leather box with gold tooled decorations labeled "Needles", gilded metal walnut-shaped base with fitted thimble, and a bone-framed cloth measuring tape with hand-lettered inches. Generally excellent. Mid-1800s.
