Description
11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, sculpted topknot, forelock curl and side curls, large round brown side-glancing googly eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, dash brows, button-shaped nose, closed mouth with thin line smile, composition five-piece toddler body with very chubby tummy, short limbs, starfish-shaped hands. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake at bottom of neck rim, one finger tip flaked. Marks: Ges Gesch O'Neill JDK 10 (hed) O'Neill (signature on foot). Comments; Kewpie, designed by Rose O'Neill, Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: delightful little imp with fine quality complexion and bisque, original body and body finish.
