The wooden school room with lettered facade "Ecole" hinges open to reveal interior scene featuring four desks with benches upon which are seated paper mache students, two kneeling "dunce" students at the front, and another at a high desk, bisque-head gentleman teacher, and back walls which are covered with various study posters and other school materials. Generally excellent. French, circa 1890.
