Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades, blue glass enamel inset eyes with rich spiral threading and darker blue rims, thick dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve-blushed eye shadow, brush-stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette hand-tied human hair wig over-cork-pate, plump kid bebe body with gusset jointing of hips and knees, bisque lower arms with separately sculpted hands, pretty rose silk dress, undergarments, fancy early bonnet, rose kidskin shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (circle dot symbol) Bru Jne 7 (shoulders) Depose (front breastplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1880. Value Points: exceptionally beautiful Bru bebe with gorgeous early eyes, sculpting details include impressed dimples in cheeks, philtrum and chin, sturdy original body, perfect bisque hands.
