22" (56 cm.) One-piece carved wooden head and torso of slender lady with heart-shaped face, elongated throat, modeled bosom and tiny waist, sculpted black hair with painted feathering of curls around her forehead, sculpted pierced ears, sculpted hair comb at her crown with beaded rim and gold band dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows hips and knees, painted green flat shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1830. Value Points: fine large size with refined demeanor, original finish, rare coiffure with hair ornament.
