Description
7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brilliant cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: arms restored, tiny eye rim flake, hairline back torso. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1875. Value Points: very rare early doll with palest complexion overall, all-original parts, plump legs, bare feet, antique lace costume and little mesh gilt metal purse.
