21" (53 cm.) All-cloth doll with socket head, pressed and oil-painted facial features, shaded blue/grey eyes with white eyedots, thick brown and black upper eyeliner, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, blonde human hair, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs. Condition: very good, some wear on body. Marks: Kathe Kruse (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, "Deutsches Kind", Type VIII, circa 1930. Value Points: appealing wistful expression, the little boy wears woolen trousers, suspenders, great coat, shirt, socks and shoes.
