Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth with upturned lip corners,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid body with square-cut collarette,gusset-jointing at hips and knees,bisque hands,fine antique aqua silk faille and ivory gown with matching bonnet may be original. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A (head and shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1872,in which year the head model was deposed in Paris. Value Points: the rare smallest model of the enigmatically-smiling poupee has very choice bisque,exquisitely-sculpted hands,and very firm and clean body.
