Bisque socket head with rare opening pate at flat back of head, blue glass spiral threaded inset eyes, painted lashes, widely feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, slightly parted lips, two rows of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair wig over original Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body, nice antique costume comprising white embroidered cotton dress, undergarments, shoes, stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Le Petit Parisien Bebe Steiner Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful early model with choice bisque and painting, rare head construction, original body and body finish.
