3" (8 cm.) -6". Of porcelain, ceramic or chalk, the figures depict amusing or winsome young girls including Scottish girl resembling young Shirley Temple, white chalk girl with Scottie dog at her feet, funny falling-over roller-skating girl with green beanie, and Hummel-like figure of little curly-top blonde girl holding a bunny and feeding her Scottie dog, stamped "Little Mother". Each piece appears in various photographs of the bookshelves of Shirley Temple's playroom, and each has thematic connection with her. Mid-1930s.
