Description
26" (66 cm.) x 24". The needlepoint portrait depicts a young girl with brown ringlet curls held by a red hair band, and wearing a blue gown with lace collar edging at collar sleeves, holding her brown and white dog who is playfully trying to kiss her solemn face. The oval portrait is enclosed by a colorful needlepoint edge and then framed in original wooden gilt ogee frame. Excellent condition. French, circa 1865.
