Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque head with flanged neck, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, row of tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, wooden frame torso containing music box and bellows, composition lower arms and legs, pretty silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Sonneberg, circa 1890, when the bellows is squeezed, a merry tune is heard while the doll briskly claps her hands. Value Points: most charming musical toy is well-preserved, functions well.
