Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,large brown glass paperweight inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,rose-blushed eye shadow,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth,pale accented lips,pierced ears,brunette human hair wig over cork pate,French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows,hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5 (head and shoulders). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1880. Value Points: gorgeous face with dramatic eyes in rich brown color that enhance the creamy bisque,wearing fine antique costume trimmed with red-embroidered tulle,along with undergarments,velvet bonnet,silk parasol,jewelry,and very rare maroon velvet ankle boots and maroon velvet purse with gold frame and gilt metallic embroidery.
