8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, completely bald pate excepting fringe of hair across the top of head, painted facial features, wide-open "bug" eyes in down-glancing expression, short stroke brows, closed mouth with smiling expression, deeply impressed laughter lines, composition five piece body with painted socks and shoes, costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: R 73 A 13/0. Comments: Recknagel, circa 1915. Value Points: rare and amusing googly with highly characterized features, exceptional modeling.
