Description
21" (53 cm.) Socket head with painted facial features, brown shaded eyes, brown and black upper eyeliner, short stroke brows, closed mouth, blonde human hair, firmly-stuffed cloth body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Kathe Kruse (feet). Comments: Germany, Kathe Kruse, Type VIII "Deutsches Kind", circa 1935. Value Points: the solemn-faced little boy is all original, wearing Tyrolean costume including flowered jacket, suede-like shorts with suspenders, shirt, cap, socks, and shoes.
