Description
22" (56 cm.) h. x 14" w. 12" doll. A heavy card stock card with decorative paper borders is centered by a bisque doll with painted facial features, brown upper-glancing eyes, eyeliner, painted lashes, closed mouth with row of painted teeth, mohair wig, composition body with jointed arms and legs, jacket, pants, shoes, cap, marked A.L. Lorraine, J.E. Masson (Lanternier) as toy merchant. He has a hanging shelf on either side and two lower cupboards with decorative designs, and over all the card and shelves is an arrangement of a plentitude of miniature toys, dolls, teddies, animals, and children's novelties, French, circa 1915. Excellent condition, a wonderful presentation with endless delights.
