Description
19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, slightly-modeled brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D 1/2 made in Germany 8 1/2 167 (head) Germany (red stamp on body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1910. Value Points: pretty dolly-faced model with original body and body finish.
