17" (43 cm.) Socket head with painted complexion and facial features, shaded brown eyes, brown and black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, slightly feathered brows, closed mouth, blonde human side-parted hair, cloth body, stitch-jointing at shoulders, disc-jointing at hips. nicely costumed. Condition: very good, some possible touch-up on cheeks, arms and legs a bit dusty. Marks: (illegible stamps on feet). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1950. Value Points: beautifully-painted eyes on the wistful child.
